Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Sales Associate (SA) to work as part of an experienced sales team in an exciting and fast-growing business. The primary responsibility as Sales Associate is to engage with senior executives in order to generating new business revenue.

In partnership with an experienced Sales Executive/Account Manager, a Sales Associate will work to achieve both personal and combined goals and offer support in closing business. Substantial investment will be made in sales-skills development through this partnership, and by way of formal and classroom training.

The Sales Associate will undertake prospecting, networking and the qualification of marketing leads. This will be achieved largely through telephone contact with prospective and existing clients. While the main focus of the role is to add opportunities to the sales pipeline, individual project work can involve driving marketing initiatives such as campaigns and events, or sourcing lists of names or researching new sales channels and business areas.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Engaging with senior executives, by telephone and written means
* Assisting in the preparation and distribution of materials for prospect interactions by collecting and researching background information on institutions as well as their relationships with PIU or PLN
* Updating CRM database with relevant sales and renewal information
* Providing any other assistance necessary in support of Sales Executive or Account Manager operations/pipeline management
* Coordinating participation of Product Specialists in sales activities

A successful candidate will possess:
* Superior interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* The ability to present self professionally and intelligently to prospects/members - able to create and deliver convincing arguments and build rapport and credibility quickly with senior executives
* Well established organisation, multitasking and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
* Refined judgement
* High levels of motivation and drive to over-achieve, relating to both team and individual targets and goals
* 0-3 years experience in specific field/position/industry
* A Bachelors degree, 2:2 and above in any discipline
